You’ve been waiting, we’ve told you it’s coming and now it’s here, the latest update for LogMeIn Ignition. Be sure you download the newest update, now available on the app store. This update includes three new features to increase your productivity as you sail into the summer months.
With the new LogMeIn Ignition you can:
• Copy photos between your iPad/iPhone photo library and Ignition, so they’re always accessible in one place.
• Attach files of any kind (including multimedia) to emails directly from Ignition.
• Set Ignition to close while multitasking after 1, 2, 5 or 10 minutes.
We hope these new features offer you a simple way to get a little freedom from the office while you’re on the go this Summer.
Be sure to check out the videos below to see all the new features in action. And as always, we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Excellent, but I still want to be able to read any notes in ignition that I may have made in the webinterface.
Anders – Can you tell me more about the feature you’re looking for? I want to be sure I understand your needs so I can incorporate into our feedback appropriately. ~ Tara
Agreed, viewing notes made in Central within the IOS app would be useful. Also, if Ignition IOS (and the desktop version for that sake) could use credentials we have saved in LogMeIn Central that would be incredible!

If you look at this picture from the webinterface of LogMeIn you can see that I have made a note regarding BEAR4. It is this information I want available in Ignition.

Thanks for the additional information, that’s really helpful.
I see it supports video. Does it support sound, or are these videos silent? I would like to play music off my computer through Logmein on my IOS devices.

Will there ever be any development like this for the android version? Why is it being neglected?
Thanks Lawrence. We hear you loud and clear. We’re working on additional updates for Android. You’ll hear about it on the blog as we get closer.
It is so cool to hear about Ignition, I had never used it but one of my friend had noted me about it and I just search to get some ideas about it, as a result I arrived to your blog, good to see some info here. Now I need to get user-guide on how to use Ignition, where can I get it? Any suggestion?
Cheers, Mike (What is Photography site)
Mike,
You can find information on the Ignition app on the LogMeIn.com website or in the App Store.
The Photos feature allows you to easily access photo files on a remote computer using Ignition, save them locally and access them via your Photo App on your iOS device. All the photos you take using your iOS device are also available via Ignition to easily transfer to remote computers.
Best,
Tara
